Through #CSXPrideInService, our #ONECSX team works year-round to provide support and demonstrate our gratitude to our nation’s first responders and their families. Last week, CSX co-hosted the first ever First Responder Family Appreciation Day event with the First Responders Children's Foundation at the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore, MD. Throughout the day, first responder families and community members came together to enjoy family-friendly activities including demonstrations from the CSX drone and K9 Units, games with prizes, pictures with the Orioles mascot, and the opportunity to ride in a locomotive.

CSX is committed to helping build stronger, safer communities. Together with the First Responders Children's Foundation, we supported over 30 of the 2024 National Night Out events across our network, distributing more than 15,000 toys and spreading essential railroad safety tips. #CSXPrideInService #NationalNightOut

Safety is our top priority at CSX. Our Atlanta training center provides comprehensive instruction to new hires, but the learning doesn't stop there. Our CSX Conductor Mentor team offers personalized, one-on-one mentorship, ensuring trainees gain deeper insights into safety rules and protocols and develop essential skills. Today, we remember the extraordinary bravery and selflessness of the police officers, fire fighters, EMTs and rescue workers who responded to calls on #September11. Their courage in the midst of chaos and their commitment to saving lives remind us of the strength of the human spirit. CSX summer interns recently joined CEO Joe Hinrichs and members of the CSX leadership team on a train journey from Jacksonville, FL to Rice Yard in Waycross, GA. While aboard, CSX interns spoke with our #ONECSX leaders about creative problem solving, the importance of innovation, and what it means to be a good leader.
