CSULB Esports and Gaming Association strives to create a professional collegiate esports program that can bring the world’s best gamers together to compete for CSULB in today’s competitive games. We revolve around our three main pillars: competition, community, and charity. [COMPETITION] CSULB Esports & Gaming Association recruits and trains top-tier gamers who are hungry to test their skills against other esports teams, both locally and nationally. Our main goal is to establish esports teams in today’s popular games to represent CSULB, thus creating a formal esports program for our school. [COMMUNITY] At the core of the CSULB Esports & Gaming Association is an inclusive, diverse, and friendly gaming community. Both casual & competitive gamers are welcome to participate in our meetings, where we host small tournaments and have fun with one another. In addition, our club collaborates with other organizations both on and off campus to host interactive events. [CHARITY] Giving back to the community is essential to the core values of our organization. We partner with several non-profit organizations like Anxiety Gaming to host marathon gaming streams and other fundraiser events to raise money for great causes, such as mental health and emergency relief.
