What a Week! ?? Sales Week 2024 unlocked incredible talent and fresh perspectives! ?? Trivia Night with WiBA and Beta Alpha Psi at Colorado State University College of Business Philanthropy Night! ?? ?? Last week our competitive selling team competed in Orlando at the International Collegiate Sales Competition (ICSC), hosted by the FSU Sales Institute. This competition marked an important milestone for our program, as it was the first time Colorado State University had the privilege to attend the nation's largest collegiate sales competition. We are very grateful for the signature experiences this event provided. The competition began with Sam Hodsdon and Jenica Caldwell competing in the speed sell event sponsored by Dexian. This was followed by Jenica Caldwell and Rachel Plechas participating in the role-plays presented by DLL Financial Solutions Partner and Tom James Company. Finally, Sam Hodsdon and Josh Hansen took part in the ReliaQuest Sales Management Case Competition. To cap off the week, our team spent Saturday at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios before heading back to Fort Collins. We want to express our gratitude to the faculty, staff, volunteer judges, corporate sponsors, and student volunteers of the FSU Sales Institute for facilitating this amazing event, including Chuck Viosca, Shannon Young, Leff Bonney, and Angie Kovarik. CSU Sales Club ‘Sales Week’ recap??: ??We began with an intern panel which featured some of our members who had sales internships this past summer. Thank you Daniel Gentry, Naia Lawlor, and Lucas Sultana for sharing your experiences with us! ?? Next we had the second annual Top Golf Night, which doubled in size from last year! It was great to see members network with employers in such a unique setting! Glad to have been in a group with Parker Zarecki, Grace Moerman, and Corah Clemmer! ?? The week ended with alumni night, which headlined Matt Ritter with Subaru of America as the keynote! Matt certainly brought the energy and made the night so memorable! Last night, the CSU Sales Club hosted an intern panel. Five students and current sales club members sat on the panel to share about their summer internship experiences, one of which was our very own Daniel Gentry. I say “our very own” because he is still working part time with Fastenal, which is kind of unique to our internship experience ?? I’m glad I had the opportunity to pop in and support Daniel for this event. Busy day. Long day. Rewarding day for sure.

“I actually work at Fastenal” I bumped into one of our current part-time employees today while on campus with the CSU Sales Club. Since he has started with us I haven’t had a chance to connect with him in person, so I didn’t even recognize him when he walked up to the booth ?? but I knew his name!! Daniel Ardehali is a sales associate at our Fort Collins location that started with us as an intern over the summer and has continued his part-time career with Fastenal while finishing his education. I enjoyed getting to see one of our new blue team members and hear about his experience with us ?? Colorado State University Colorado State University College of Business
