Proud of Gracie and all of our CEE Rams Without Borders (RWB)!
Over spring break I had the opportunity to return to El Salvador with Rams Without Borders (RWB) to continue work on the water distribution system for El Pital and Las Tablas. It was incredible to officially begin construction on the project after years of designing and fundraising. The past few months I have been the projects schedule manager. I organized the schedule and created a Critical Path Timeline to allow all the different parties involved in the project to visually see it's progression. I want to thank Bert Vermeulen for all of his guidance on these big-picture project management skills. During the trip I got to teach others how to use this tool and it was amazing seeing things click for them; the Community Water Board got to see all the steps of the project visually for the first time. We also got to do physical labor, helping to build fences and the foundation for the water storage tank which was a lot of fun. This trip I loved being able to speak Spanish well enough to hold conversations and get to know people better. This project has introduced me to some of the kindest and most welcoming people on earth and I'm excited to keep improving my Spanish for our next trip. #WASHproject #ProjectManagement #EWB
