Ravinder Toor, a student of School of Eminence Kaila, District Moga, has created a paper prototype of an audio playlist application. His design enables users to create and manage personalized mixes for different activities like driving, jogging, or casual listening. The interface allows users to select between timed or endless playback and browse content categories such as news, comedy, and reviews. A bottom navigation bar provides easy access to mixes, library, store, and settings. This project is a result of IBM SkillsBuild sessions conducted in collaboration with CSRBOX, which introduced students to design thinking and artificial intelligence. These sessions helped students develop problem-solving skills, understand user-centric design, and create digital solutions. Ravinder’s prototype demonstrates his ability to structure an intuitive interface. The Food Parlour app prototype was created by Bhoomi Sood, a student of SOE Mohinderganj, GSSS Patiala, as a result of the AI and Design Thinking masterclasses conducted by CSRBOX and IBM SkillsBuild. The masterclasses provided Bhoomi with structured problem-solving techniques and AI-driven insights to tackle the issue of food wastage and hunger. Her app concept connects people who have excess food with those who need food, creating a community-driven food-sharing system. The prototype features an easy registration process, allowing users to enter their name, contact details, and address. It includes two main options—"Prepare Food" for donors and "Need Food" for recipients—ensuring that food reaches those in need efficiently. An OTP-based verification system adds security to the process. Through these masterclasses, Bhoomi learned how AI and user-centered design can address social challenges, boosting her creative thinking, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities. The masterclasses guided him in brainstorming user-friendly features, designing an intuitive interface, and incorporating AI-driven functionalities to enhance digital learning. His prototype includes subject-wise resources, mock tests, study materials, and interactive feedback options, making education more accessible and engaging. His work stands as an inspiring example of how students, when equipped with the right knowledge and mentorship, can create meaningful innovations that address real educational needs. The design includes features such as online medicine delivery, doctor consultations, health essentials, and a membership plan for affordable healthcare access. The structured user journey—from entering details to confirming an order—demonstrates her understanding of user experience and service design. These sessions helped Radhika grasp AI-driven problem-solving, user-centric design, and digital solution development. She applied these concepts to create a prototype that addresses real-world healthcare challenges.
