  • ?????? ??????????????: Labour Force Survey Quarter 4 2024 Published 20 February 2025 ? The Labour Force Survey (LFS) is a continuous nationwide survey of households in Ireland, primarily designed to produce quarterly labour force estimates that include the official measures of employment and unemployment in the state in accordance with International Labour Organisation (ILO) concepts and definitions. ??????????????????????????????: ? In Employment: Persons who worked in the week before the survey for one hour or more for payment or profit, including work on the family farm or business and all persons who had a job but were not at work because of illness, holidays etc. in the week. It should be noted that as per Eurostat’s operational implementation, the upper age limit for classifying a person as employed is 89 years. ? Unemployed: Persons who, in the week before the survey, were without work and available for work within the next two weeks, and had taken specific steps, in the preceding four weeks, to find work. It should be noted that as per Eurostat’s operational implementation, the upper age limit for classifying a person as unemployed is 74 years. ?     • This is an image highlighting today's Labour Force Survey Q4 2024 release. There is a link to the release in the post. This image contains a selection of the key findings from the release, such as: The employment rate for people aged 15-64 years was 74.3% in Quarter 4 (Q4) 2024, up 0.3 percentage points from 74.0% a year earlier. The estimated Labour Force (i.e. the sum of all people aged 15-89 years who were either employed or unemployed) stood at 2,892,500 in Q4 2024, up 2.4% (68,400) from Q4 2023. The estimated total number of hours worked per week in Q4 2024 increased by 3.1 million hours or 3.8% on Q4 2023 figures to 85.6 million hours. The estimated labour market participation rate in Q4 2024 was 65.5%, up from 65.4% in Q4 2023.

The Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) is designed to measure the change in the average level of prices paid by households for residential properties sold in Ireland. ? The RPPI specifically excludes non-household purchases, non-market purchases and self-builds (i.e. where the land is purchased separately). ?     • This is an image to highlight today's release of the Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) December 2024. There is a link to the release in the post text. There are a selection of key findings from the release in the image. These highlights are: The median price of a dwelling purchased in the 12 months to December 2024 was €355,000, compared with €259,000 in 2019, and €155,000 in 2013. The lowest median price for a dwelling in the 12 months to December 2024 was €182,250 in Longford, while the highest median price was €660,000 in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown. The national RPPI increased by 8.7% in the 12 months to December 2024, with prices in Dublin rising by 8.3% and prices outside Dublin up by 9.0%. The most expensive Eircode area over the 12 months to December 2024 was A94 Blackrock with a median price of €730,000, while H23 Clones had the least expensive price of €131,000.

  • ?????? ??????????????: Goods Exports and Imports December 2024 PUBLISHED 17 FEBRUARY 2025 ? Goods Exports and Imports statistics provide data on the movement of goods between countries. ? The statistics are a combination of Customs-based non-EU trade statistics and data from the Intrastat Survey of Irish traders involved in trade with other EU member states. The collection of trade data is the responsibility of VIMA (a branch of Revenue). The CSO is responsible for processing and disseminating the data. ? This release records the movement of all goods over the frontier at the valuation placed on the goods at the time of crossing the frontier. ?? The Key Findings from the release mentioned in the image: -Unadjusted goods exports were €15.5 billion in December 2024, an increase of €1.7 billion on December 2023. -Unadjusted goods imports fell by €309.3 million to €11.7 billion in December 2024 compared with December 2023. -The first estimates for 2024 show that exports were valued at a record €223.8 billion, and imports were valued at €133.6 billion. -Seasonally adjusted goods trade exports and imports decreased in December 2024. -Exports of Medical & Pharmaceutical Products rose by €22.4 billion (+29%) to €99.9 billion in 2024 compared with 2023, while imports grew by €3.0 billion (+24%) to €15.7 billion.

Results from this release are based on the Survey on e-Commerce and ICT?by an enterprise, which was conducted in the first half of 2024. ? This survey release covers enterprises with 10 or more persons engaged in the manufacturing, construction and selected services sectors. The results reflect the continued increase in the online presence among enterprises in Ireland and their use of data and technology. ? Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to systems that use technologies such as text mining, machine learning, or deep learning to gather or use data to predict, recommend or make decisions, with varying levels of autonomy.
