CSL welcomes the publication of the “World Health Organization (WHO) guidance on implementation of Patient Blood Management (PBM) to improve global blood health status”, aimed at increasing awareness and urging health care institutions to adopt PBM. PBM is a patient-centered, evidence-based approach that prioritizes the management and preservation of a patient’s own blood, improving outcomes while enhancing patient safety and empowerment. ?? Bringing CKD-aP Into the Spotlight during Kidney Disease Month?? Imagine living with an unbearable itch—day and night. For up to 50% of dialysis patients, this is their reality. Yet, Chronic Kidney Disease-associated Pruritus (CKD-aP) often goes undiagnosed and untreated. At CSL, we’re making sure patients no longer suffer in silence. Launched in February 2025 and running until April 2025 in just few European countries, our first large-scale CKD-aP patient campaign will bring awareness, education, and hope to those who need it most. ?? How we’re making a difference: ? Helping patients recognize CKD-aP—so they understand that their constant itching isn’t just part of dialysis, but a condition they can address. ? Encouraging open conversations—by giving patients the tools to talk to their doctors and caregivers about their symptoms. ? Providing access to information—through dedicated local patient websites, filled with resources and support. ? Reaching patients where they are—whether online, in dialysis centers, in train stations and metro stops, ensuring they see messages that resonate with them. Just five weeks after launch, our campaign has already surpassed 1 million impressions—helping us reach and engage more patients than ever before!
