    ?? Date to watch for - Jan 1! The DOL split its overtime rule update from earlier this year. The next increase is January 1st. Certain employees earning less than $58,656 per year will be eligible for overtime pay, up from the current minimum of $43,888 per year.??? Per HR Dive: If an employee who is currently exempt from overtime eligibility falls beneath the salary threshold as a result of either update, an employer could either convert the employee to nonexempt status and pay overtime or increase the employee’s salary to put them over the threshold. #HRcompliance #wageandhourlaws #DOLchanges #OT

    Ghosting - we thought it was a thing of the past - but it's still occurring. ?? At its foundation is poor communication. ?? The "symptom" is the ghosting - a complete end to communication by the candidate. But the breakdown likely started prior. ??     In the fast-paced sectors of healthcare/hospitality/manufacturing, speed is key to keeping your operations uninterrupted and maximized. ? Consider these stats: 1?? It takes somewhere between 100 - 200 resume submittals to get hired 2?? Each job opening gets about 150 resume submittals 3?? Internal recruitment teams work on an average of 20 - 30 openings!
