**Team CSG Spotlight: Kandee Yearsley** Kandee has more than 35 years of experience working to enhance public child support and social services programs. She started her public sector career as an Eligibility Case Worker assisting individuals and families navigate the application process to receive support services including TANF, SNAP, Medicaid, and Child Care. In 1995, Kandee joined the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, where she spent two decades in various program management roles, ultimately becoming the Child Support (IV-D) Program Director in 2005. During her tenure as the IV-D Director, Kandee recommended and implemented program improvements and policy changes. Her achievements were recognized with numerous agency awards for her skillset in leadership, customer service, and an improved program vision. Since joining CSG in 2017, Kandee has served as a child support expert, project advisor, and business analyst for IT modernization projects in five states. She currently serves as CSG’s QA Business Analyst for Alaska’s child support modernization project, providing guidance to the State in the development and design of a new system compliant with Office of Child Support Services certification requirements. Kandee says, “Every day I work with the most amazing people and together we help state programs modernize their systems and improve services to the individuals and families that count on them. Steve Jobs said, ‘Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.’ I am grateful for the opportunity to do great work every day!" ***Team CSG Spotlight: La'Tivia Tipton, PMP*** La'Tivia is a Project Manager and Medicaid expert with over 20 years of government operations and system modernization consulting experience. She began her career in government consulting as a customer service associate before advancing to senior liaison for the U.S. Department of Labor. La’Tivia shifted her focus to the Medicaid program in 2008, establishing herself as a Medicaid expert while serving as a Provider Enrollment Supervisor for the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration MMIS implementation project. Since joining CSG in 2012, she has supported eight other states with Medicaid Information Technology Architecture assessments, Integrated Eligibility and Enrollment system replacements, and Medicaid Enterprise System modernization projects through the full project life cycle. La’Tivia has also moderated CSG’s monthly MES Certification Discussion Group, facilitating conversation about the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Streamlined Modular Certification developments, best practices for implementation, and emerging trends. For the past six years, La’Tivia has applied her extensive Medicaid knowledge and certification expertise to support the Vermont Department of Health’s Medicaid Enterprise Replacement project as the IV&V Project Manager and Certification Lead. With the support of La’Tivia and the CSG team, Vermont has successfully certified five modules. La’Tivia says, “My journey has been fueled by a commitment to positively impact lives affected by government operations through the modernization of Medicaid systems. With years of experience successfully managing complex Medicaid projects and certifications, I am dedicated to contributing to the seamless implementation of innovative solutions. My evolution from customer service associate to Medicaid expert is a testament to the power of growth and passion in driving meaningful change in government and healthcare systems.” Thank you, La’Tivia, for your dedication to the Medicaid population.
