GE Healthcare in Waukesha, WI, needed to upgrade and upsize their cooling towers to support their magnetic resonance manufacturing process. With a strong partnership already in place, CSD Structural Engineers was the trusted choice as Engineer of Record. Our team evaluated the existing structure for increased loading, designed and detailed necessary reinforcements, and incorporated work platforms and guardrails for safety near the roof edge. Using Revit modeling, we developed precise construction documents to guide fabrication and erection, ensuring a seamless and efficient upgrade.

The MET II / Wells Fargo Center is a 47-story, 647-foot-tall mixed-use high-rise that stands as a testament to innovative structural engineering. The Baird Center expansion in downtown Milwaukee has doubled the facility’s size, adding 300,000 square feet of exhibition space, 400 indoor parking spaces, and a rooftop ballroom with outdoor areas.
