We are capturing our story on video! Last week, Karen Mix M.Ed. (CS4NorCal Co-Director) and filmmaker Bruno Pozo from Elvira Media - Growth Agency traveled through Siskiyou, Lassen, and Plumas counties to capture incredible stories from staff, students, administrators, and county offices. This video project will highlight innovators across rural Northern California and create a 3-5 minute video spotlighting each county’s computer science journey. Next stops? Shasta, Glenn, and Modoc Counties! #CS4NorCal #ComputerScience #EducationTransformation

Here's another fantastic spotlight from CS4NorCal, featuring teacher Garrett Edwards from Lake Elementary School in Glenn County! "Garrett Edwards, like most teachers at most CS4NorCal schools, wears many hats: science teacher, basketball coach, head of the yearbook club, drama director (& script writer) and a technology advocate. At such a small, rural school -- with fewer than 200 K - 8 students -- Garrett has become an adopter of adding computer science education into his daily lesson plans."
