Tea time is back! If you need help with any class, assignment, resume, or just want to chat, come to our tea time! We can sit down with you to talk about life, personalize your course schedule, and help out with basic questions about the school or classes. Our first tea time starts Monday September 9th from 4:05pm - 4:55pm. Tea times will alternate between Monday (4:05pm - 4:55pm) and Tuesday (12:50pm - 1:40pm) every week. Come out to see us and ask all those questions!

CS Kickstart is an introductory program for incoming women students at UF who have a desire to learn more about computer science, math, and/or engineering. We are dedicated to empowering women at UF and sharing the basics of tech so they can feel more confident stepping into college and less intimidated to take their first technical class. — Starting Summer 2024, CSK will host the multi-day program for participants to learn CS, make friends, and kickstart their love for tech. We’ll hold programming labs, tech info sessions, field trips, socials, and much more! — Join us this Fall semester for college planning workshops, arts and crafts socials, programming workshops, and more that can help you kickstart your tech career and become part of a supportive community of women in tech –– no prior skills needed!

It’s a wrap! ? From August 18th to 20th, we welcomed an incredible group of young women to UF with our first-ever CS Kickoff, a program for incoming freshman and transfer students interested in tech to get a head-start on the world of Computer Science before the fall semester begins. ???? We dived into student panels, hands-on workshops, and inspiring talks from industry leaders and a UF professor. Our attendees also explored tech-related clubs, connected at socials, and so much more. A massive thank you to our amazing eBoard and officers for bringing this vision to life, and to everyone who joined us—we hope you had as much fun as we did! ?? Here’s to building a brighter tech future together! ??????

?? Applications for our first annual CS Kickoff Program are now open! ?? CS Kickoff is a multi-day introductory program from August 18th - 20th for incoming women at the University of Florida who are interested in math, science, or engineering. Participants come to UF a week before the fall semester to gain hands-on experience in programming and explore various domains of computer science and engineering through activities. ????
