Today, the United States, Japan, and the Republic of Korea issued a joint statement on cryptocurrency thefts by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the importance of public-private collaboration. Crypto ISAC’s participation in this public-private collaboration, alongside initiatives like the IVAN partnership [1] and Security Alliance (SEAL), supports the US, Japan, and South Korea in transforming how the blockchain industry defends itself against emerging threats, including those posed by DPRK cyber actors.
