‘GTS’ = Guerilla Truck Sampling. Last month Crosswalk Media parked a 40ft long Everyday Dose truck directly in front of a SoHo coffee shop for an entire Saturday afternoon. When you are a brand trying to win over coffee drinkers you can’t beat that location ??. The Dose team set up a large speaker and streetside sampling station off the back of the lift gate (genius). With music blasting and Jack Savage conducting ‘truckside’ interviews with prospective customers the entire scene quickly garnered a crowd that sustained all afternoon. Engagement level was through the roof ??. ? Many hundreds of Dose samples were distributed. ? Attendees shared the event to their stories amplifying its reach. ? Hours of customer interviews were captured and could now be repurposed for social content??. The cost? ?? Let’s just say it was at least 10x cheaper than what most brands pay for experiential assets/activations of comprable size. Just another creative example of how some of the fastest growing consumer brands are leveraging the flexibility of our inventory to create memorable interactions that meet their target audience where they exist IRL.

During back to back peak holiday shopping weekends, Crosswalk Media directed a handful of our massive wrapped Jolie trucks to drive a 4-hour, synchronized custom route around the Union Square Holiday Market in NYC during max foot traffic hours (11:30AM - 3:30PM). Over the full 2 week period, and in addition to operating their standard 8+ hour per day delivery routes throughout Manhattan, we directed trucks to add additional daily stops in the shaded ‘heat zone’ pictured. These added stops combined with our weekend takeovers amounted to 81 hours of hyper-targeted coverage around Union Square where Jolie was also running other OOH across wildpostings, subway platforms and bus shelters (Cequel Media) Our dynamic combo of size, mobility and affordability is unmatched in the OOH landscape. More and more brands are waking up to the power of BEING BIG. We are just scratching the surface of what is possible with this format. P.S. if you still have holiday shopping to do, go buy a Jolie ??. I guarantee the recipient will thank you.
