After months of preparation, our Early College Academy scholars started as full-time college students at MCC Penn Valley! The seniors will graduate with over 1.5 years of college already completed. And for the first time in CPA history - we have three Juniors in the program who will graduate with an Associate's degree along with their high school diploma in 2026. They worked so hard to get into this program and we are so excited for them to have this incredible opportunity! ?? Thanks to the Real World Learning team members Ms. Maxwell, Ms. Bacus, Mr. Jackson, Ms. Filippo for supporting these efforts. Current sophomores who are interested in joining ECA for next year - look for more info coming at the end of September! ?? It's Alumni Spotlight time! Take a look at what Albert has been up to…proud of you, Albert! ?? Albert Lawrence Ray CPA Class of 2023 MCC Advanced Technical Skills Institute Albert is a proud Crossroads graduate who has charted a remarkable career path in the technical field. He attended the MCC Advanced Technical Skills Institute, where he earned his welding certification. His journey began in high school, where he participated in welding classes at MindDrive and gained multiple automotive certifications through his classes at Manual Tech. Currently, Albert is utilizing his skill sets as an automotive technician at Firestone. His career goal is to secure a job in custom automotive fabrication, a field that perfectly combines his passions for welding and automotive technology. Albert credits his time at Crossroads for providing him with invaluable real-world learning opportunities. One of his proudest accomplishments was conducting his Eagle Scout project, where he built recess equipment bins for Quality Hill students. Albert Lawrence Ray is a testament to the power of hands-on education and community involvement, and we are excited to see where his skills and ambitions will take him next.
