Schools, hospitals, and doctors' offices could deny accommodations to people with disabilities. ? Access to sign language interpreters, accessible websites, and medical equipment could be at risk. ? The ability to receive equal healthcare and education could be severely weakened. ???????? ?????? ?????? ????? On Saturday, Crossroads' CEO, Marc Hines, and Services Director, Jen Simmering, attended the Legislative Forum to advocate for issues affecting individuals with disabilities and the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who serve them. They discussed the importance of including DSPs in Health Care Worker legislation, ensuring annual Medicaid increases to sustain essential services, promoting ongoing inclusion for people with disabilities, and reviving last year's Work Without Worry bill. ? Legislators need to hear our voices to understand what truly matters to their constituents. ?
