I spoke to the CEO of a company running events months ago. He hoped his staff would take the next few days off. There is nothing to hope for. Events are consuming. They are intense. They take a physical toll. The best event owners, CEOs, operators, and managers give the team a week off after an event. If your boss doesn’t understand this, take PTO. You need to recharge.
