Cross Cultural Consultants (CCC) is working alongside one of our long term clients Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation this year to provide cross cultural education to all staff in the NT. Thank you to the Ironbark team for entrusting our services once again, we look forward to building on the cultural competence of the organisation. And thank you to Damien Mick for facilitating these important sessions.
At Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation we are committed to fostering a culturally safe and inclusive workplace and to continuous learning. Over the past few weeks, our team has participated in Working with Cultural Difference training, delivered by Cross Cultural Consultants (CCC) and led by Damien Mick. The engaging and insightful sessions have deepened our understanding of cultural perspectives, communication styles, and the importance of cultural awareness in our everyday work. Damien’s expertise and lived experience have provided invaluable knowledge, equipping our staff with the skills to work more effectively and respectfully across cultures. By investing in ongoing cultural competency training, we strengthen our ability to support and empower our people and the communities we serve. A big thank you to Cross Cultural Consultants and Damien Mick for sharing their knowledge and wisdom with our team! ??

One of the many organisations where Cross Cultural Consultants (CCC) training has created a shift in people’s thinking ??
As part of our ongoing cultural awareness journey, this week Renascent took a deeper dive into how diverse cultures communicate and work together, exploring key areas of difference between the Aboriginal culture and others, to develop a true appreciation of the core values affecting communication styles. Leading the training roadshow was Jason, a Limilngan and Jingili man, from Indigenous owned Cross Cultural Consultants (CCC), who delivered hands-on training to all teams, in all offices, across the country. The experience was memorable and thought provoking, leading to many conversations and sharing amongst teams afterwards. As shared by Jason “learning to adapt to a new culture doesn’t mean you have to decide which approach is better. Rather, you recognise that everything in the world can be looked at in many different ways”. Watch the video below to share some of the experiences of our team members. #CulturalAwareness #InclusiveWorkplace #WorkplaceTraining #RenascentAustralia #crossculturalconsultants
