On March 11, #CLA submitted comments to the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) highlighting the need to eliminate unfair trade barriers and promote science-based regulatory approaches for pesticides. By reducing trade friction and helping ensure international standards are upheld, we can foster a more predictable and science-driven global marketplace for agriculture. Flying home from #CommodityClassic where I had the most amazing experience with my incredible CropLife America colleagues Jeff Blackwood, Molly O'Connor, Josie Montoney-Crawford, Brian Glenn & Alex Smith! We walked the show floor each day racking up so many steps but most importantly meeting and having truly meaningful and impactful conversations with our member companies and with the growers who fill our tables with wheat, corn, soybeans, sorghum, and the incredible Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) who brought out the fanciest and most modern farming equipment you can imagine. It’s going to be a hard year for farming with tariffs and a needed Farm Bill but together we will step up and do “the hardest job on Earth!” ??
