Verdict Alert! Justice served! On February 26, 2025, a jury found a former employer negligent for using our client’s name and professional licensure without her consent after she stopped working due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This case highlights the importance of protecting professionals from unauthorized use of their credentials. Attorney Shannon Polvi fought tirelessly to secure this victory for our client! ??

Earlier this month, the University of South Carolina Mock Trial Team competed at the National Trial Competition Regionals, and we couldn’t be prouder of our Law Clerk, Liz! ?? Liz and her co-counsel, McCall Phillips, were among the top two teams, securing their spot at Nationals in Texas! Their hard work and skill, guided by coaches Molly Sue Harmon, Tanner Wise, and Brett Bayne, led them to this incredible achievement. Adding to the excitement, Liz was also recognized individually with an Outstanding Advocate Award! We’ll be cheering her on as she takes the next stage, and we congratulate all the competitors and coaches on a fantastic competition!
