Astrotourism is on the rise, with everything from eclipse tours to northern lights expeditions capturing the public’s imagination. As Brinley Hineman reports in Travel Weekly, the demand for astronomy-focused travel remains strong, especially following the 2024 total solar eclipse. At Criterion Travel, we have consistently secured lodging for upcoming eclipses, ensuring our travelers have access to prime viewing spots. Miami Herald: We’re looking at it,” said Gary Bartelings, founder and managing director of BARTELINGS, on bringing an excursion to the Magic City. His company specializes in high-end private aircraft world trips and is one of the organizers of the current trips with Criterion Travel. He said he could see putting together an itinerary that includes Brazil, Argentina. Craig Carter, CEO of Pan American World Airways, Inc. and owner of Pan Am Brands. “These journeys, tracing both the original Pan Am Southern Transatlantic Route between New York and Marseilles and the Northern Transatlantic route between London and New York, have been painstakingly designed to honor the unmatched legacy of Pan Am and I look forward to welcoming guests onboard in 2025.” Pan Am flights as we knew them may be gone from the skies, but the airline, which will mark its 100th anniversary in 2027, has left a legacy in Miami Pan Am’s giant globe, once inside the Coconut Grove terminal and then at the Museum of Science, is now at the Miami Worldcenter in downtown Miami. The high-touch development and attention to detail is crucial, because this beloved airline still has a devoted following. The nostalgia factor will be through the roof... An expert panel, including Pan Am Brands CEO Craig Carter, Ed Trippe (Chair of the PAN AM HISTORICAL FOUNDATION and son of founder Juan Trippe), and Linda Freire (Chair of the Pan Am Museum Foundation), will select the name that best embodies Pan Am's spirit.
