Also, a fantastic case study of cascading disruptions: local power interruptions, airport closure, flights re-routed, passengers disrupted, cargo disrupted, etc. The downstream effects of this fire will be widespread.

Fantastic post from Scott Wilcox. These are concepts I have been preaching as well. So many companies(especially small and mid-size) don’t even have a Chief Security Officer, or they are stuck in the “security is just about gates, guards, and guns. We don’t need that” mindset. Educating the c-suite about the value of security is so critically important to ensuring business growth and success. Not a cost center, a business enabler.
