关于我们
Criminal Justice Ministry seeks to serve, not to judge, by improving the safety and well being of individuals affected by crime and the criminal justice system, their families and their communities in the Greater St. Louis Area. Since 1979, CJM has supported and empowered those whose lives have been impacted by incarceration. Initially a ministry of the St. Vincent de Paul Society to provide prison ministry for the Archdiocese of St. Louis, CJM is now an independent, non-profit community agency. The agency provides jail and prison ministry, client re-entry services and advocacy for community safety and criminal justice reform.

At CJM, we prioritize training opportunities that empower us to improve the re-entry experience for our clients while ensuring their safety. Did you know that veterans are 1.5 times more likely to die by suicide than non-veteran adults? Additionally, individuals who have been incarcerated face an elevated risk of suicide, especially within the first two weeks after release. A huge thank you to Places for People, Inc. and your team at @Illume: The Behavioral Center of Excellence for providing our team with QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training! This invaluable training has equipped us with critical tools to support those who need it most during such vulnerable times of transition. #QPRTraining #SuicidePrevention #VeteranSupport #Reentry #MentalHealthMatters #ThankYouIllume
