Community Creates: Making Art Together ??? – With November being National Homeless Youth Awareness Month, we wanted to shine a light on an event series we held that focused on our young CRF clients. This summer, families from six CRF shelter sites joined in a socially engaged art practice, transforming blank canvases into vibrant expressions of community, resilience, and creativity. Guided by the incredible talent and vision of artists Minshik Shin and Jimin Lee, residents of all ages collaborated on large-scale canvas paintings, using art to tell their stories, build connections, and celebrate their unique voices. These beautiful pieces highlight the power of art to bring people together and inspire change. Be on the lookout for our gallery event showcasing this amazing artwork - coming in 2025!
