Our members and board spent Saturday working in their warehouse, organizing essentials for the Free Store. We’re so grateful for organizations like Crisis Assistance that support the citizens of our beloved city every day. ?? Join Us for a Morning of Giving Back! ?? This Saturday, we’re coming together for a special volunteer event with Crisis Assistance. Here’s the plan: ?? 9:00 am - Arrival?? Enter through the Volunteer Entrance (you’ll see a “Welcome Volunteers” sign) and bring any donations you’d like to contribute! We’ll kick things off by hearing from a Crisis Assistance representative, who will share the organization’s mission, vision, and the powerful impact it has on our community. ?? 9:30 - 11:00 am - Donate + Sort?? We’ll then roll up our sleeves and help with "Free Store Production." You’ll be able to assist with sorting donations, sizing and hanging clothing, and stocking essential items. These contributions make it possible for families in need to access clothing and household items free of charge—freeing up their resources for essentials like housing and utilities.
