Who else hates asking for a military discount? The hospitality industry does not do military discounts well. The experience of asking for one, if you do it at all, is time-consuming and annoying. It puts hosts in an awkward position. First, they have to kill their bottom line, because most big platforms out there won't cut fees for military guests. Second, hosts have to verify the guest for military affiliation themselves... just like we were all doing 20 years ago. As a guest, you shouldn't have to ask.
