Each spring, the Charlotte Business Journal recognizes a cohort of young professionals who are rising stars in their respective career fields and emerging leaders in the local community. Winners in the 40 Under 40 program will be celebrated during an awards event to be held May 8 at The Westin Charlotte hotel in uptown.

KIDS WORK Internship Program for rising high school juniors, seniors, and 2025 graduates ages 16-18. Promotes workforce awareness and access to different career opportunities. Companies foster through sponsorships, which are tax deductible. The nonprofit organization handles paying the interns and all administrative costs.

Help us support Clothed with Care and their local, non-profit, efforts to provide relief to families and communities recover from disasters and hardships, with a current focus on supporting Western North Carolina’s recovery from Hurricane Helene. Wear it Forward (April 3-6) is taking place in Lower South End @ 900 Pressley Rd! . The event will feature over 30,000 pieces of donated inventory and aims to generate $250,000+ to assist with long-term recovery. The week kicks off with Runway to Recovery, a preview event and fashion show showcasing curated pieces and celebrating community resilience. Proceeds will fund small business recovery grants for WNC communities still struggling post-disaster. The event kicks off with Runway to Recovery on April 3rd—a fashion show and VIP presale celebrating resilience, community, and the power of giving back. The confidence and programs that Dress for Success provides to these women allows them to find employment, allowing them to lift themselves and up to 6 other people out of poverty.
