During the meeting, the group was able to tour the Centennial Yards development project. Congratulations, Lindsey! ??
I am thrilled to announce a major milestone in my academic journey (yes, I have been quiet as of late)! After an intense process, I have successfully passed my PhD oral defense and will be graduating this semester with a doctorate in Design, Construction, and Planning, with a concentration in Interior Design from the University of Florida This achievement represents (to date): a 100 drafts, 70,500 words, 11,351 lines, 4,914 paragraphs, 1,000 pages of transcriptions, 100 pages of statistical analysis tables, countless pivot tables and heartaches/headaches…creating a 303-page dissertation submitted to my committee this past month. This journey has been filled with challenges - dead ends, potholes, and unexpected detours - but it has been an invaluable experience, nonetheless. The road to this PhD has been as much about personal growth as it has been about academic achievement. I'm looking forward to sharing more about the conclusions of my research in the coming weeks and months. For now, I'm simply grateful and excited to be completing this significant chapter in my academic career. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. Here's to the next phase of applying this knowledge!
