The U.S. Small Business Administration has issued Procedural Notice 5000-866054, Update to SOP 50 10 7.1 Section A, Chapter 5, Paragraph E, Environmental Policies and Procedures?(effective March 20, 2025). The notice revises the guidance in SOP 50 10 7.1 relating to environmental requirements for loans processed on a nondelegated basis, excluding?7(a) Small Loans.?The notice does not?modify the Environmental Policies and Procedures for delegated processing of loans under PLP, SBA Express, Export Express, 7(a) Small Loans, or PCLP authority, except that environmental reports must be dated within one year of issuance of the SBA loan number. ? Every February, CREtelligent teammates across the country receive a small box in the mail with an artist's paint kit including canvas, paint, brushes, and even an easel. Fannie Mae recently issued updates to their #MultifamilyGuidelines, Appendix G, that identifies and addresses known problematic building materials and property design issues when performing Property Condition Assessments. ?? In the Agency’s notification 25-02, Form 4099.G, three types of electrical panels have been added to the list of problematic materials.
