Thank you to Cahill Contractors for the chance to be a trade partner on this beautiful project. The new Sanctuary for Congregation Rodef Sholom in Marin, CA is truly a work of art through and through. The millwork scope was exceedingly complex and challenging, and it occurred during a period of capacity issues for our company. Nevertheless, Cahill treated us with the utmost respect and supported us making it over the finish line. Crestmark Millwork crafts Luxury... And will deliver it to the 41st floor! This high end apartment tower in Oakland, CA, incorporated these floor-to-ceiling library cabinets on the 41st level. The backs of these cabinets were made from smoky antique mirror, shipped from overseas after a 5 month lead time. We all held our breath through the logistics of shipping and schlepping these beasts all the the way up to the penthouse level amenity spaces. Crestmark Millwork makes your design buildable. This 30'+ tall "Block Wall" was painstakingly engineered into a seamless interlocking panel system. Panels were preassembled in the shop using hundreds of individually cut and labeled blocks. 4x8 Backer panels were programmed with different depth CNC routes to allow blocks of the same thickness to be applied, creating the appearance of differing material thicknesses. Panels were installed on z-clips, with select blocks applied after installation to hide engagement gaps. This build method drastically simplified the material procurement, assembly and installation processes, allowing us to deliver and install this art project on time.

Crestmark Millwork creates spaces that make an impression. This theater in Menlo Park, CA incorporated perforated, acoustic, walnut veneer panel cladding on the underside and face of the balcony. Metal screens and solid walnut frames formed the extensive wainscot. The effect is both modern and vintage, and a perfect invitation to a classy night on the town. Crestmark Millwork thrives in coordinated complexity. The interlocking beams of this slat ceiling formed an organic curve that bends the mind, but the real challenge lay in the pre-coordination. The steel stairs and vertical wood railing, the reception desk and slat wall, the second floor concrete deck- the position of all these elements hinged upon the placement of the first ceiling slat.
