Chris leads Cresset Partners’ private capital investing efforts, making direct investments and co-investments in control equity, non-control equity and structured debt in private companies across a range of industry verticals, and serves on its investment committee. He also leads Cresset’s corporate and strategic development initiatives in the wealth management, family office and asset management markets. ? Prior to co-founding Cresset, Chris spent over twenty years as a private equity partner and finance and strategy executive with Willis Stein & Partners. During that time, he led investments in a number of private companies across a range of industries, including business and industrial services, consumer services, education and health care. He also was a co-founder and member of the board of directors of Lincoln Clean Energy, a renewable energy development platform successfully sold to an infrastructure fund. Prior to joining Willis Stein, Chris began his career in the investment banking group of Salomon Brothers. ? Chris resides in Winnetka, IL, with his wife and three children. He is active in the Chicago community and serves as a member of the board of directors of the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund, the Evans Scholars Foundation and the Western Golf Association.
