Introducing the GW sophomores selected for the REFA Real Estate Mentorship program, a year-long "boot camp" that prepares outstanding students for careers in commercial real estate. We start them early at GW! Their journey begins with weekly meetings and culminates in a two-day networking trek to New York City, where they have the opportunity to meet with and learn from industry leaders from among GW Center for Real Estate Studies' vast network in NYC. Congratulations to Charles Rubin, Amelia Schafer, Noah Hutchinson, Layla Melton, Matthew Aslan, Eric Dulin, Vincent Brusco, Elijah Slarskey and Jonah Schwartz for being selected for this signature program. Celebrating two more of my top proteges at the Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis - The George Washington University School of Business upon graduation -- Noam Ellinger and Matthew Cohen. These fine young men were mainstays of our real estate program as mentees (and later mentors) in our Real Estate and Finance Alliance program, and have had tremendous success here at The George Washington University School of Business. Noam is heading to Fannie Mae here in DC and Matt will be starting at JLL in New York City this summer. They will go on to do great things in real estate. It's bittersweet saying farewell to these two, but I know they will always be part of our GW real estate family. Congratulations, and #RaiseHigh!
