Today at COP29, CRES Forum hosted a roundtable discussion on the role of nuclear energy to provide reliable, carbon-free baseload power while helping to reduce global emissions. Policymakers and business leaders from the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, Romania and Europe shared their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities for empowering nuclear energy industries worldwide. The need for nuclear energy is recognized around the world. Last year, 20+ countries committed to tripling nuclear capacity at COP28, and this year’s roundtable builds on that momentum #ConservativesAtCOP29
