Yesterday, we achieved a major milestone in launching a blockchain-enabled contest on our Bluenatics platform for the first time. The contest coincided with the announcement that our St. Louis Blues will be playing in the 2025 Discover NHL Winter Classic?. On surface-level, it looks like a traditional contest with an added step. But behind-the-scenes, it’s assisting in the creation of a universal ID for each fan that is compiling many data points, including ticketing, concessions, retail, fan engagement activity and app usage. Blockchain serving as a centralized hub for this data flow is allowing us to set business rules, and rewarding fans based on their behaviors and habits. It’s an exciting start to a long-term process we believe will carry tremendous value in how we deliver the right personalized experiences, opportunities, discounts and rewards for our fans.
