Interop events are critical for the success of mobile driver’s licenses (#mDLs). They provide a real-world testing ground to ensure that mDLs work seamlessly across different systems, devices, and verification methods. By bringing together industry leaders, these events help identify technical gaps, refine standards, and drive global adoption of secure and user-friendly digital IDs. Last week, Credence ID participated in RDW’s mDL interoperability test event in Utrecht, where experts from Europe and beyond collaborated to test and improve mDLs in the EUDI Wallet. We tested our ISO 18013-5 Windows SDK implementation and our ISO 18013-7 online verifier implementation, ensuring compatibility with global standards and strengthening our solutions for secure digital ID verification.
