Elevating the next-generation of storytellers.

关于我们

Three years ago, we came together in the backwoods of Montana. Drawn together by the idea of telling more meaningful stories online, it was in those late nights by the fire that we discovered community for the first time. We had no clue what we were trying to accomplish that month. Yet, in the beautiful chaos, there came a spark - a flicker of hope for an internet reborn. Creator Camp is a community of leading artists, storytellers, and entrepreneurs who are helping to shape a better internet—one where individuals thrive through authentic expression, meaningful connection, and creative collaboration. If this is as exciting for you as it is for us, don't hesitate to say whatsup! We're always looking for great people to join our mission. [email protected]

Bedroom film-makers are getting f*cking good. One of our core goals with the Swiss Creator Village was to find ways to elevate these top internet creatives to the main stage. This would culminate in a series of collaborative short films created throughout the third day with hopes to legitimize and uplift these artists. However, we also realize it takes time for culture to shift and begin to accept a "creator" as a legitimate artist. Huge thank you to James Hale, Hannah Doyle, and Reto Fehr and teams at the The Publish Press, Tubefilter, and watson News with their help covering this charge and our venture into the next phase of Creator Camp. This is it. All we have is now. On day 3 of the Swiss Creator Village Jack Conte stepped in front of 85 of the most talented artists online and delivered one of the most powerful speeches we’ve heard. Captivating everyone’s attention for the hour, Jack would dive into his story as an artist, what his hopes are for the future, and empower those in the crowd to keep going. To push the limits of this new frontier. Thank you again, Jack, for inspiring us all and to the entire Patreon team (John Picklap, Joe Smith, Maddie Powell) for linking arms with us as we push into this next frontier of bedroom film-making. The best is yet to come!

Last fall, we approached both Danielle Ito and Lexie Barnhorn with the idea of supporting Creator Camp for an entire year. A partnership that would go beyond just a one off brand deal, single event activation, but one that would tie the stories of Notion and Creator Camp together. To be honest, at the time it felt almost impossible to find partners who understood what we were trying to do. But this felt different - as the Notion team immediately would see the value that comes with enabling spaces for creatives. Fast forward almost a year later and Notion opened their NYC offices to us as 60 creatives flew into NYC from all over the world the night before the event. Together we’d host a kickoff dinner for the Swiss Creator Village, providing an opportunity for connection even before the trip had begun. What we found throughout the week was something deeper than just a simple partnership, but a deep love and respect for the Notion brand and how it supports artists. A reminder that when you find partners that are aligned, you can go much farther together. Often times lines are drawn between partnerships managers and creators. You hear the classic “hard to work with” or “not valuing my work”, but we often forget that we’re just all people at the end of the day who have a deep desire to be understood and to work as creatives. It’s within this understanding that we believe the best work can be created. Notion now has 300+ talented storytellers to not only work with, but to also call friends. From our early days in Bend to building our entire company on the platform, thank you to Danielle, Lexie, and the entire Notion team for supporting this next generation of storytellers and enabling spaces for artists to thrive :) With love -CC Team.

36 hours before our flagship event in Switzerland began - we were alerted that a landslide had wiped out the single road leading into our host town of Saas-Fee We were no longer going to be able to host the event there. 9 months of planning, a whole hotel & itinerary set in stone, it all would have to change. Honestly, we shouldn’t have been surprised - it’s become Camp tradition that some extreme weather event happens during our event (snowstorm in Park City last year, no power for half of a basecamp earlier this year). However, the entire Valais and Swiss tourism team sprung into action. Finding us a new home in Leukerbad and helping shift our itinerary to ensure everything continued as planned. Events of this scale will always have something go wrong and it’s in these moments that your team will be tested. Danny Desatnik, our sole man on the ground, would have to improvise and find solutions while the rest of the team would be in NYC focused on communicating the changes to the creators. Huge thank you to Fabio Zurmühle, Claudio Zemp, Jessica K., Manuela Hess, Mattia Storni as well as Mario Braide, Jonna Wittwer, and the entire Valais/Wallis Promotion team, and to My Leukerbad for opening their arms to us. It’d be an understatement to say that this dream was a long shot - but thankfully we were able to meet great partners who also understood our mission and were willing to go above and beyond to make it a success. To bring us full circle, after the event, 20 creatives decided to plan their own trip out to Saas Fee led by Laila Zurbriggen getting to see the original hotel, and even the bench we had donated. Maybe one day we’ll be back for redemption :) photos by Jeffrey Sun & Christian Waite

?? Excited to share some highlights from an incredible week in Switzerland! ? I had the privilege of spending three days in the stunning Leukerbad, Valais, alongside 85 talented content creators from the US, Canada, and all over the world. It felt good to be home in Switzerland - as a representative on-site those days were also incredibly demanding and educational. Furthermore it was an inspiring dive into the vibrant world of creators. ? Following the camp, I embarked on a three-day post-trip to the beautiful Vaud region, where I explored the culinary delights of Montreux, Vevey, and Lausanne with my five entrusted content creators. Together, we experienced the charm and beauty of the Vaud region, and I loved showcasing the wonders Switzerland has to offer. ? I had an incredible experience as a representative of Switzerland Tourism and my beloved country! A heartfelt thank you for the trust and invaluable lessons I gained as a tour guide after just three months in my internship at Switzerland Tourism. I feel truly inspired and elated after this adventure and am even more thrilled to be part of the North America Team! A huge shoutout to Valais/Wallis Promotion, My Leukerbad, and Saas-Fee/Saastal Tourismus. It was amazing to collaborate with your teams, especially witnessing how they relocated the entire camp to Leukerbad after SaasFee was cut off due to a landslide - an impressive task accomplished in just 48 hours before the creators arrived. That kind of can-do spirit is what makes me proud to be part of the tourism industry! Thank you also to Montreux-Vevey Tourisme & Convention Bureau and Lausanne, Capitale Olympique for hosting us and providing such fantastic activities, special thanks to Lucie Wüthrich and Olivia Bosshart for showing us around in your cities. And last but not least, a big thank you to Creator Camp - it's been an absolute blast! ? Feeling energized and inspired!?? #IneedSwitzerland #InLoveWorkingForST #MyVaud #Valais
