Time to do something that terrifies you... just don't do it alone! This summer I'll be teaching my open Book Creators program again -- it's a powerful and fun community-driven approach to writing and publishing your book. We've now had over 1,500 aspiring authors go through the experience and publish, with nearly forty authors in the last year winning a national book award or being a finalist. Whether it is a business book, a novel, nonfiction thought leadership, your memoir, or something else, the collaborative experience helps you find the direction and write a book for your legacy. The best part is as a social venture (B-corp), we are able to offer this experience to the community in a way that is accessible and collaborative to any working professional or full-time student. How do I know it works? Turned out that in 2021, I had two books that were 'stuck' (no progress on them), so I took my own books through the program, worked with one of the developmental editors, and -- voila -- both will be coming out in 2022. We all need accountability and community... even me! It's why I tell people my philosophy is about book writing is to Never Write Alone. Over 2,300 aspiring authors have gone through the experience and published, with more than 360 of our authors winning a national book award or being finalists in the past three years.
