We’re excited to announce the completion of the £2 million transformation of our Pilsworth store in Bury! After weeks of hard work from everyone involved, the newly transformed store welcomed customers yesterday with a fresh new look, including: ? A modern redesign with new lighting and updated signage ?? A consolidated food hall that simplifies the layout for a more seamless shopping experience ?? Low-level chilled units in the produce section and a dedicated wine & spirits zone ?? Enhanced George and General Merchandise departments ? A new ‘Asda Kitchen’ café, offering a modern coffee shop atmosphere We can’t wait to welcome more customers back into the store to see the changes for themselves and would like to give a huge shout-out to all our fantastic colleagues at Pilsworth. Excited to see this project come to life! For the past 7 weeks we've been busy redesigning the Asda store in Pilsworth throughout, with new signage, navigation and POS. Delivering a new look aligned to Asda's new masterbrand creative strategy. The project involved hundreds of pieces of creative, a great team effort across multiple teams at Asda and a real challenge for all involved! Special thanks to the Asda creative team Joanna Johnson, Darren Bebb, Danny W. & Hannah Goodall, Tom Barltrop, Claire Pulpher, Teresa Trivunovic, Alex Killeavy and the fantastic team at CreativeRace, led by Joe Thorpe & Patrick Hawkes.

The feeling of seeing brilliant creative work out there, in the real world, that I've played a part in, will never get old for me. I remember seeing the initial strategy, media approach and creative scamps for this idea and getting tingles instantly. It takes a brave client to take a completely out of category, disruptive idea and run with it. The CreativeRace team have nurtured it through to final execution producing a brilliant multi-channel targeted campaign that is delivering results for our client City Lit.

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting a group of Leeds City College students for a paid media workshop in partnership with our client at Northern (Claire Rowland MCIM and Sam I'Anson). ? Having been given an overview of marketing and an interactive walk through on how to develop an effective media strategy, they were tasked with creating an end-to-end strategy of their own to present back to the group. ? John Michael, our Head of Media Strategy who led the sessions said, 'It was fantastic to work with the next generation of marketers, giving them an insight into working life and hopefully helping them take that first step into a career in marketing. I think I’ve just discovered the best way to measure the success of a campaign… The number of smiles you can put on kids’ faces! That’s got to top it, right? At CreativeRace we were responsible for delivering the point of sale for Asda’s Cashpot for Schools campaign. Now, being able to sit back and see the impact we’ve helped deliver is a pretty great feeling!
