It is with great joy we announce March’s speaker: Bo Shepherd of Woodward Throwbacks! Bozenka (Bo) Shepherd is the co-founder and Head of Design at Woodward Throwbacks, a Detroit-based design studio known for its bold, character-driven interiors. With a background in Transportation Design from the College for Creative Studies, she began her career as a Car Designer at General Motors before shifting her focus to furniture and interior design. Bo’s work is defined by a raw, industrial-meets-refined aesthetic, blending custom furniture, architectural elements, and unique textures to create striking, memorable spaces. Since launching Woodward Throwbacks in 2014, she has transformed a 24,000-square-foot former car dealership into a dynamic showroom, workshop, and creative hub. Whether designing for residential or commercial spaces, Bo brings a fresh perspective that balances functionality with artistic expression. Her interiors tell a story—one that is bold, unexpected, and full of character. Don’t miss her inspiring talk THIS FRIDAY! ?? RSVP now: https://lnkd.in/gquPDyww

Excited to announce that I am the host of a new chapter of CreativeMornings, Creative Mornings Ann Arbor. When I first moved here, I really missed my creative community, so one morning I got up super early to drive an hour to CreativeMornings/Detroit. There, I met a handful of other people from Ann Arbor who had also done the same thing. Clearly I wasn't the only one in Ann Arbor who was craving this, but I wondered if there would be enough interest to merit a chapter in Ann Arbor? I often like to test ideas in small ways before going all in, so I reached out to their host, Taylor Mae Kanigowski, who graciously helped me facilitate a couple pop-up events in Ann Arbor to test the interest. Thanks to the help of Chelsea Hohn Pete Baker Abby Rosenbaum Hi?n Lam Chris Stranad Cahoots Lowertown Bar & Cafe StudioStudio FinalFinal Huck Finch? Studio, the first two pop-up events were a great success, and we now have our very own chapter! Shout out to Dolan Personke for the beautiful graphics! Stay tuned for details on the first event, happening on the morning of April 25, and message me if you want to get involved! Let's create the community we want together!

If you meet these qualifications, this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss!
This is the DREAM opportunity for any creative talent who wants to align their skills and experience to propel a mission forward. The volume of untold stories is incredible and the impact is proven. Check it out and if you're an 'out of the box' thinker lets talk. I don't care about 'industry' experience and actually would prefer someone without it. If you've had success crafting messaging and developing content to inspire and connect that's all that matters. This?isn't?about?charity.?This?is about investing your abilities in a model that transforms both youth and adults, creating a ripple effect that will reshape Detroit and beyond. #hiring #brandmanager #impact #creative #socialmedia #contentcreation #thetimeisnow #purpose

Thank you CreativeMornings/Detroit for having me today! I had so much fun sharing my story with everyone. I can't believe people braved the cold and snow to come. It was so wonderful to see so many familiar, and new, faces in the crowd. No community is more supportive than the Creative Community in Detroit! Remember, "your career is never a straight line"... If hearing me talk about my background in DJing piqued anyone's interest, here is an all vinyl mix I did recently of Detroit-style electro: https://lnkd.in/eTkFXFKj #detroit #designtalks #appareldesign #creativemornings
