After a day of my heart extending into the offices of many district leaders, I have a serious question... If our school and district leaders who are meant to lead aren't positioned to be able to do the true leadership work, how do we expect our systems to grow and perform at higher levels? Support for our leaders needs to look like: ? Giving them time back in their day to the impactful, strategic work ???? Providing them with the right people in the right pockets to make sure the work can keep moving forward, even when they have to put on their firefighting gear ?? Helping them find the technology that will automate and operationalize their programs so everyone knows what to do, when to do it, and how to do it Creatively Focused is talking to leaders everyday who are days away from burnout. What if I told you I was more worried about the adults in education than the kids? Here are some statements I heard this week that tell me Creatively Focused is on the right track by prioritizing the needs of the adults in education... ?? My whole team is in reactive mode all the time. I wonder if we can ever get out of that cycle and get to the proactive work. ?? I've been on a hampster wheel for years hoping it would get better. ?? I know exactly what I could be working on. But I've never been able to get to it. I know we'd see better outcomes for kids if I could. Districts partnering with us are shifting from surviving to thriving by implementing #axis3 as their special services operating system. They're spending more time in the work they were meant and trained to do. Administrators and their teams need this investment.
