As a photographer and exhibitor sponsor, it was an incredible experience to be part of AFP Long Island’s event, The Future of Fundraising: Moving Forward Together. The morning program, held at the beautiful Crest Hollow Country Club, brought together Long Island’s leading voices in philanthropy and nonprofit organizations. The venue’s elegant ambiance and serene surroundings set the stage for a day of collaboration, learning, and inspiration. Being both a sponsor and a photographer allowed me to engage with attendees on multiple levels. Our exhibitor space provided a wonderful opportunity to connect directly with professionals passionate about advancing their missions and building meaningful partnerships. Hearing their stories and discussing ways we could support their efforts through visual storytelling was truly rewarding. From behind the lens, I aimed to capture the essence of the event: the warmth of connections made during networking sessions, the enthusiasm radiating from panel discussions, and the collective drive to innovate and move forward together in the fundraising space. Each interaction and speaker told a story of resilience, vision, and impact. Kudos to AFP Long Island Chapter for organizing such a purposeful and well-executed program.
