I had the best time this week..... The previous week, I randomly sent a copy of my book to the female news anchors from our favorite morning news show. I knew from watching them daily that they had young children. I wanted them to have the book in their hands to help support them on their parenting journey! This Tuesday, I received an email from Laura Hettiger asking me to be on her livestream segment. She had had a cancellation for her segment and asked me to fill in the spot! She said she received my book, reviewed my website, and thought it would be great to have me on her show! I was filled with EXCITEMENT!! I of course called my husband right away and while I was rambling about the email and what I should wear, my husband interrupted me and said "You should probably email her back and tell her you want to do it". RIGHT I should do that. So I did! I was able to be a guest on our local news station KMOV Channel 4 to discuss my book "Raising the Well-Adjusted Child: A Parent's Manual" For an hour we talked about raising kids, parenting challenges, work-life balance and so much more! News anchor Laura Hettiger was incredible! She made me feel so welcomed and at ease! I loved the experience and look forward to future collaborations with her. #parenting #news #lifeisgood #amazingmoments #KMOV
