This Thanksgiving season, we are filled with gratitude and excitement as we announce that Creative Girls Rock?? has been awarded a Community Impact Grant from the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee?? This grant empowers us to continue fulfilling our mission of educating and empowering young girls and women through creativity and community engagement, while also recognizing the incredible work we’ve already accomplished together. It’s a powerful reminder of what’s possible when passion meets purpose, and we’re thankful for the confidence placed in our potential to make an even greater impact. As we reflect on this season of giving, we’re reminded that none of this would be possible without your support and belief in our vision. Thank you for being part of our journey!

IT'S TIME ????? After five years of planning, tomorrow, Thursday 11/21 will mark the official construction kickoff for the Bordeaux Collaborative, a collaboration center that will house both Creative Girls Rock? and FiftyForward Bordeaux Senior Center. Construction will transform the former @fiftyforward 1,800-square-foot space into an 8,900-square-foot facility that is scheduled to open in 2026! Additionally, the facility will feature room for other nonprofits and government offices to share resources and information in the Bordeaux community, and we are thrilled to arrive at this point. Students from Vanderbilt Peabody College crafted beautiful, unique ornaments while celebrating the holiday season with creativity and joy. Yesterday, Creative KIDS Rock?? hosted the Harvest Season Gratitude Portrait Project with the talented young artists at Purpose Preparatory Academy. Through this workshop, students created beautiful self-portraits surrounded by symbols of the harvest season and the things they’re most thankful for. This activity inspired the students to reflect on gratitude and express it through art, filling the room with warmth and creativity. With their portraits adorned in fall symbols and heartfelt gratitude notes, our young artists captured the essence of the season beautifully.
