After winning the Children’s & Family Emmy award for Public Service Initiative, our #science-infused telenovela is nominated for a second Children’s & Family Emmy award. La Fuerza de Creer: Dulce Sazón is part of the La Fuerza-STEM project led by Joy Lorenzo Kennedy, Ph.D. and Jessica Mercer Young, Ph.D., was co-produced through a dynamic alliance between EDC, Univision Foundation, Literacy Partners, and Creative Depot Enterprises, and was made possible by the invaluable support of the National Science Foundation (NSF). We are all so honored for our telenovela to be nominated for the Children’s or Family Viewing Series Emmy Award. And we are in such great company with the other outstanding series that have been nominated! The award will be announced on Saturday night, during the Third Annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards ceremonies held in Los Angeles.
