Thanks to Katie Daniels for the most fun recap of Newtopia Now! We loved getting to see some of our favorite clients like Blueshift Nutrition, JonnyPops, MALK Organics, Best Nest Wellness, Nancy's Probiotic Foods , Verb Biotics, The Good Crisp Company, BeanVIVO, Emotional Utility Beverage, Manukora Rudi's Rocky Mountain Bakery.
A 7-story-tall blue bear peering into the Denver convention center at Newtopia Now—a fun start to a show filled with unexpected finds. From aloe-based hydration to Manukora honey for health, teas with punny (cringey in the best way) names, Lucha libre-inspired EL NACHO TORTILLA CHIPS, and even fungi-based protein Nature's Fynd that can be (and has been) grown in space! Packaging designs were all over the map (which I found refreshing), with beautiful fonts, colors, and styles, and no single trend taking over. Connecting with new-found friends and founders Zach Pecha, Addy S., Kathryn K., Tal Garden, Ashley Nickelsen, Claudia Bouvier, Lisa Steinkamp, WavenDean Fernandes, Casey Harshman, Sarah Olney, Julia Knott, Lauren Pacheco, Alexa Daniels, Ethan Clark, Jacquelyn Schneider felt easier and more engaging than larger shows, and you could feel the momentum and the camaraderie these brands are building in the natural products world. The atmosphere had the right balance—laid-back enough to enjoy, but still a ton of great energy. Well done, New Hope Network. Welcome to the 2024 CREATIVE ALIGNMENTS OLYMPIC GAMES! In honor of the #2024Olympics starting tomorrow in #Paris, and the fact that we're always coming up with new ways to have fun as a virtual company, we transformed our standard all-team meeting into an hour of laughter, campiness and competition -- full of hurdles, bloopers, wins and defeats! Representing different countries, we competed in sports like Pictionary Gymnastics, Trivia Archery and a Scavenger Sprint. The best part is that winners were able to put their gold, silver and bronze medals to work to make real impact in the world. With our partner, B1G1, winners were able to give to select causes of their choosing. Just from our 1-hour meeting, our team provided: - 63 days of training in sustainable farming practices were given to farmers. - 27 days of support was given to prevent a family from separation. - 10 days of direct cash support were given to lift people above poverty. - 16 days of healthcare training were provided to women. And, we had a lot of fun. What culture-building activities have you enjoyed participating in?
