Frazee Area Community Club - It’s beginning to look a lot like a Merry Frazee Christmas—and we’re kicking off the festivities with a bang! Start your holiday celebrations on December 6th with a delightful piano concert at CornerStone. Then, on December 7th, the fun continues all day long! Enjoy breakfast with Santa, get crafty with kids' activities, join in a scavenger hunt, and pick up a book from the DL Rotary. Shop local at the craft and vendor show, indulge in a sweet reindeer cupcake walk, and savor a scrumptious holiday lunch. Don’t miss the holiday tours at Karinall Estates, featuring festive drinks and live music! From the hotdish competition and bake sale to visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, there's something for everyone. Ride in a horse-drawn trolley, and experience the magic of a live nativity. Don’t miss the snow plow parade, followed by pizza, puzzles, and a pint at Third Crossing Bar, which will be serving up holiday drinks, karaoke, and giveaways. And of course, end your evening with a warming hot buttered rum at the VFW. It’s a day of pure holiday joy—see you there!

Last week, we kicked off the FRC Stakeholder Gathering with a bang! We dove into key resources, created an open space for burning questions, and ignited some inspiring conversations about how we can spark a wave of positive change in our incredible community. We had fantastic speakers that joined Megan Jenson, Creating Community Consulting Co-Owner and Consultant, who led the meeting; Quinn Jaeger- Clay County Social Service Director, Tammy Schatz- Adult Basic Education Program Manager, Brandon Baity- Indigenous Association, Colleen Murray- CAPLP (Lakes and Prairies Community Action Partnership) Operations Director, and Siham Amedy- Creating Community Consulting Project Lead.

We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to the MOORHEAD BUSINESS ASSOCIATION and Clay County Early Childhood Initiative for the opportunity to speak and collaborate on such meaningful projects. A special thank you to Siham Amedy and Jody Jordet, who, on behalf of the Clay County Early Childhood Initiative, shared the inspiring ways that members can make a lasting impact by contributing to the Clay County Early Childhood Fund. Their generosity will help build a strong foundation for the children of Clay County and provide much-needed support to the dedicated providers who nurture and care for them. We are truly grateful for your support and partnership in this important work.
