Our goal is to teach people how to bridge political divides using collaborative forms of problem-solving. Our goal is that participants learn this and bring it forward into their everyday lives. Creating Common Ground is a nonprofit devoted to helping policy makers, politicians and ordinary people bridge divides on contentious social and political issues. We do this by providing free online instruction and interactive online workshops that show people how to have political conversations that can actually solve problems. We also do this by publishing Creating Common Ground Magazine -- a forum in which talented people proposed novel solutions to entrenched social and political problems.
