Creatella Impact proudly supported, as a business partner, the ASEAN Blue Innovation Challenge, an inspiring initiative by UNDP Indonesia, Japan - The Government of Japan and The ASEAN Secretariat that fosters sustainable solutions for the blue economy across ASEAN and Timor-Leste. On February 19 in Jakarta, 60 pioneering businesses and projects from 10 ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste presented their innovative solutions for marine conservation, transforming plastic waste, coastal sustainability, waste management, sustainable tourism, blue carbon and related fields to a diverse audience of investors, government and business leaders, and entrepreneur support organizations. The momentum carried into February 20, with bilateral and group discussions between these businesses and key investors on how to unlock investment capital and utilize financial mechanisms such as carbon and plastic credits to scale their innovations. As part of our commitment to impact-driven growth, Creatella Impact will provide these entrepreneurs with business and investor matchmaking, supporting them in scaling their ventures and amplifying their positive impact on the blue economy. ???? ?? ?? Creatella Impact | Development Organization was honored to participate in the event hosted by UNDP, South Africa and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) at the UN HQ in New York. The discussion focused on fostering deeper systemic partnerships between financial institutions (FIs) and development institutions (DIs) to mobilize private capital for the geographies and sectors most in need of investment to achieve the SDGs. Karén Vardanyan shared insights on Creatella Impact | Development Organization's work in developing a pipeline of SDG-aligned, investable projects and businesses. He emphasized the importance of de-risking these ventures and preparing them for investment, aligning them more closely with the risk appetite of institutional investors. A distinguished group of representatives from governments, MDBs, IFIs, and financiers engaged in discussions on concrete actions to finance the SDGs through the renewed #FfD agenda.
