I simply had to share this comment by Hadiza Mohammed. Today LinkedIn Guide to Creating posted their "Community Feedback" post. It is a time and space for people to add links to something they created, and to get feedback on it. I have met some stellar people this way, for one Chaitali Khangar, who was a superstar and inspiration to turn her post into a song called "Switch off the Screen" that you can find at Elevate Your Workday. Well, the thing is, inspired by people posting on the community feedback post, and by what I saw on the profiles of so many LinkedIn Top Voices, I started my Create with Kim & Canva series. Putting the creation of music on hold, I created these quick remedy videos so that I could have links - on LinkedIn - that I could copy and paste into comments.... to save my hands because with EDS (see The Ehlers-Danlos Society) the joints in my fingers sublux, which is very painful and the only way to heal them is to rest them and do nothing. So, today was the day. I responded to post after post, with links to various remedies: from how to use a custom URL on LinkedIn, to how to create a unique LinkedIn banner, to how to avoid ALL CAPS and why. ?? A few reacted to my comment. ?? Hadiza Mohammed, who had used the exact same Canva template I used in my video commented in a way that reached deep into my being and evoked tears, responding to my comment that maybe people thought I was spamming. ??
