Upcoming Webinar: IREC & the ACE Apprenticeship Network? ? When: March 15, 2024 at 11AM PST/1PM CST/2PM EST ? Overview: The Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC), with CREATE as a partner, has been contracted by the U. S. Department of Labor to serve as an Industry Intermediary to support the expansion of Registered Apprenticeships in the clean energy industry. Attendees will learn about new Apprenticeship requirements in the Inflation Reduction Act and how educational institutions can partner with employers to develop a skilled and diverse clean energy workforce through Apprenticeships. Participants will hear firsthand from Madison Area Technical College's Electrical Construction Apprenticeship program, and learn about the free technical and financial assistance available through the Apprenticeships in Clean Energy (ACE) Network. ?
